Default SWS May Meet, 14th May 2014

Hope its ok with Ty and everyone else for me to start a new meet thread for May, if not, let me know and i'll get the thread zapped.

This month's meet will take place at the usual location of The Toby Carvery Inn at Cardiff Gate just off junction 30 of the M4, on Wednesday the 14th May , 2014.

As usual the early eaters can grab a bargain if they wish, the meet will start at it's usual time of 7.00pm.

Hopefully the weather will be descent and a good crowd and mixture of cars.

Please add your name to the list if you wish to attend.

No problem Rob, I meant to get around to it on Wednesday or Thursday evening but with being on call and not getting home until late just never got around to it.

Not for one second did I think that you were trying to usurp me or anything (joke).

Holy smoke, I'm down as attending without even knowing. So whether I like it or not I'm coming on down! Be stopping for longer this time and have to make sure the gravy lives up to its expectations!

Even though it was a relatively small meet it was still a good one, it was good to see Ken **** back in full effect causing mayhem and chaos.

Nice chat and some good food, plus I showed a few people on the way home why they should fear the white van man.

As said above, a small attendance but a great meet all the same. Nice to get to chat to everyone last night and a nice bit of tucka too.

Had to nurse a more sicky bad car back 3 miles from home last night but fingers crossed I've finally found what's wrong with it. We'll see what Indigo comes back to me with tomorrow.

Sort of although not the multi plugs as they were like new but Ty wasn't a 100 miles away and this was confirmed on the way home from the noise the fuel pump was making so fuel starvation its looking like Rob.

Good news of sorts Jay, I've heard of lots of the Walbro fuel pumps failing or under load spitting their dummies out.

Good in a way then Jay, glad you got to the bottom of it, hopefully replace and forget about it then. As Ty has said, I've heard of them giving up (bit of a bad batch or copies flying round iirc) , I have a wlbro fitted and so far so good, but do fear it'll **** itself one day mid corner and send me into a bush
Maybe time to upgrade to a Bosch sometime in the near future

Ant has ordered a new pump so I'll know exactly what was wrong on Monday, he has a few things in mind but it seems the pump is the most likely. Will let you know the out come on my Indigo GT thread.
