Default V3 STI crank sensor

As a few of you know I've been having misfire issue's with my car and I've changed quite a few things over the last week but to no avail. Does anyone have a crank and possibly a cam sensor I could borrow please??

Thanks
Jay

Hi Jay

From memory, if the crank sensor is faulty, it will shut the car off and wont let it start. Well thats what it did to mine last year until i changed it and it was as new again.

Matt, I really don't know what else to check now tbh. It's going back over to Indigo GT next week for a 3 port boost solenoid and a map tweek and I've asked them to get to the bottom of what's going on but would of liked to have sorted it myself, think I've drawn a line under spending another 100 odd quid on a new sensor just to try hence the post. I love the car but its a whisker away from being thrashed with a tree branch Basil Faulty style!!
The only other thing I can think of is the lamda sensor, I disconnected that tonight but that didn't make any difference either.

No Matt, always run on V Power and now it's been mapped on V Power. This fault has been with me for a long time and only improved for a while when I replaced the maf then shortly after back to square one so I put it down to the maf being at fault hence why I never investigated it as I presumed all would be well after going mafless.
The fault never arose while the car was being mapped on the dyno and Ant said he had it right up to working temp but he said he had the fan blowing through the front which sounds to me it's temp related.
The car's going back to Indigo GT next week for a map tweak so I've told them to find out what's wrong.

Thanks Matt, that would be great, two people have said it could be down to those sensors and you and another said no so it's a process of elimination. At least I'll know what it's not. I'm still wondering if the lamda is at fault
