Listen mate don't get to are up with it, it's a game to most and by biting you please more than most. I get angry with sn it seems to of got worse the last few years. Iv just bought a wrx hatch and had some comments on general section about fitting a Sti kit on it and it pisses me off as if everyone has to have a Sti or ltd ed car it's wrong and we all have our own taste which makes the world go around. Don't let it get to you and enjoy your car the way you want to. Oh yea I'll be more than happy to meet face to face and discuss it lol been down that route with another person it doesn't solve anything really but a good face to face chat does do wonders

I would just say that the world is full of opinions, ignore most, listen to some and do what you want - I will be honest and say that your car isn't to my taste but I don't own it so my opinion means nothing in reality.

Just enjoy the car you bought, if opinions really bother you then unfortunately car forums are the worst places possible as it's worse than a hen night for bitching, just grow a thicker skin as I have done over the years.

There are people on here who don't like me, and if they think that bothers me then they don't know me very well at all - we all like to be popular and it's nice to be liked but I sleep soundly every night.

When you first bought your car bry I made my opinions know. It is not for me and the money spent, was as far as I am concerned, wasted by the previous owner. It's fine speccing up the engine but the general condition of a car needs attention too, particularly the body work you cannot see. It'll be like driving a clown car when bits fall off before the engine breaks.

If I was getting a spray job done I would have at least had the whole car done and not skimped on leaving out the interior of the bonnet and boot. The neons are very McD carpark or the wet dream of a fourteen year old baseball cap wearer.

But Like Ty said, we all have people who don't like our cars or even us as humans, when they have not bothered to even say hullo or socialise. But unlike Ty, I do sleep with one eye open.

It's a fact of life that people will mock you for what you are, who you are and what you stand for. Those that exist towards the extremes are more likely to be mocked.

So if you can't handle a round mocking by a few people on the internet then you really shouldn't give them ammunition by making your car look quite so ridiculous.

Do you think it is just people on social media and Scoobynet that laugh at it? Try driving with the windows open!

hang on a min guys!!! what is this? he hasnt asked any of you to comment on his car. if i didnt know some of you it would of got up my skin as well. enough is enough. as ive said before i thought sn was a site for car lovers not people giving others grief. its fine having an opinion but its a diffrent thing being rude about it. As its clear to see that nice people are being driven away by these coments and thats wrong and def not what this site is about. ive been around here a long time and i have seen these rude comments effect people and theres no need. When i had my type r i never had one rude comment but as soon as i bought the hatch i have, Im with Andy i can see why you would want out of your hatch after some of the comments iv had. but i love the car and it does what i want. I know some of you guys and you need to rain it in and keep your opinions to yourself theres no need for it. Bry come to the next meet im sure theres no malis mate.

Andy you have pm

I don't get why people get so pee'd when there car gets slatted!
You build/make the car for yourself no one else so if your happy who gives cares, and if you do care then follow the sheep and do what they say!

Or just don't ever post a picture of your car on a public forum/social network page as then it's open for public opinion and criticism!!

Actually it was a previous car that a sponsor paid money for and I will add it's all wax oiled underneath and lots of braided pipes so I don't think it will just fall apart, again your opinion means **** all as your still being rude over it,I might think your car looks **** without a spoiler, that's my opinion but I haven't gone on anybody's thread and disrespected it as it's not MY CAR to do so,the thread was started by mervil as I haven't even posted one picture of my car up.. But back to the point, rudeness can easily lead to a broken jaw and sipping through a straw for weeks just because of what peoples fingers are typing before thinking? No need to be rude

Flaming hell Kid, I've stayed out of this thread until now but bugger me you can't go round making threats like that, your bang out of order and I don't mind saying it either. (and I'm barely 5ft and don't care a bugger if you threaten me either,)

Bry, comments about a car are one thing but threats like this are definitely not required.

I suggest you remove this quite quickly but more to the point i have taken a screen print off this if anything does happen and it goes further

Just going to put my 5pence worth in, Okay when people do put their pride and joy up for public debate (where bry hasn't!) I can understand peoples opinions will be spoken. What I think a lot of people on snet should do is actually think before they start typing ect because consequences on both parties my not be nice. Just think how would you like it if you had people slating you or something you liked ect.

Personally I am glad to say I have met bry a few times now and I think hes a top bloke! Bry I know its easier said than done just try take some things with a pinch of salt. See you soon fella!

Perhaps you would like to take your own advice and think before typing.

It is one thing for people to have an opinion on a car, another for someone to start throwing threats around because they don't like what has been said, even if you don't really mean it.

I haven't followed the events that have led to this thread, or those comments, but I suggest you take a step back and calm down yourself. At the end of the day, if you like your car, that is all that matters. Whether you've asked for opinions, or you've just put pics up, like it or not, people will always have an opinion, and some will not be what you want to hear, but it doesn't matter if you're happy. Take the positives and ignore the negatives, don't retaliate to comments by making threats as it only shows you up in a bad light.

I can appreciate it's not nice to see people say negative stuff about your pride and joy, but that is the reality of forums and whilst it isn't nice, it isn't an excuse to make threats, so please take this as a friendly word in your ear to just cool down, and don't rise to such comments.
