Default Bodywork ... oh, and hello!

Hi All

It been 7 long years since I sold my Blobeye STI ... the pining for the Impreza never truely went away and I finally picked up my 'new' 05 Spec C Type RA this week.

A few bits and bobs need touching up ... the wheels are in for a refurb next week and theres a nasty scratch on the front bumper.

Can anyone reccomend somewhere in the Carmarthen/Swansea area who could sort it out?

Cheers
Jay

I used to deal with an accident repair centre in Haverfordwest many moons ago, they were on Withybush Industrial Estate more or less opposite First Bus and they had a very good reputation.

I think there is a good bodyshop as well in St Clears which is just before you take the slip road onto the A40 heading eastbound, it is on the left but again it is years since I have had anything to do with them.

In the Llanelli area I have used Westfa Garage and was very happy with their work.

Nice car by the way, I have had a good look over it myself just after Max bought it and if the timing would have been right for me I would have bought it myself.

It's a great car you have bought, I know it's a little bit of a trek but try and make it to the run on the 20th of July.

Cheers for the info. I actually live and work in St Clears and never knew there was a bodyshop .. will go and have a look in the morning!

The car is stunning, as soon as Max came around the corner in it I knew I was having it

Bet you cant remember what you had for dinner yesterday. I remember those silver superleggas well ... seemed to spend half my life cleaning them

Seems like a lifetime ago we had that run upto Powestation ... 2005?

Was looking at photos of your RA earlier, looks a beauty mate ... think you still had the sport when we last spoke. You still attend the meets? would be great to meet up again

It must have been 2004 if I have the sport, that's going back a bit ! Yes I remember the powerstation trip and your old car certainly went well.
Yes still going to the meets it's been a long time now but still a great time

I've had the RA 18 months now but for the first year I only used it one when I went to Rallyday mid build. Have you seen just a few pictures or have you spotted the project thread it's been an interesting journey and I've still a couple of things on the go now.

I don't know the car you have but the model is a hell of a car I bet it's been interesting getting to grips with it

Be nice to see her on the run on the 20th :-)

I've been going through your project thread .. really interesting to see what you've done to her Si. Stunning looking car

Loving 'getting to grips' with the Subaru again ... costing me a fortune in petrol and I've only had it 3 days

Cheers Rob. Would love to attend the run on the 20th but I'll be photographing a pair of ballet dancers (oh joy!) that day. Hopefully will be able to attend the next one.

Cheers

Bit late to the party but my son's car has just had some work done with Andrew (got hit up the rear at a roundabout). Repair was spot on and new black paint very, very good.

Also a mate has had his BMW M3 painted there and was very happy with the work.
