I've been lurking on here for quite a while until i got the opportunity to sort myself out with a car I've been looking at for about 7 years now all tolled.
Finally, i picked up the fine specimen below from Torque GT a couple of weeks ago with 42,000 miles on the clock, Wedsport wheels and nigh on stock otherwise.
Ideal.
It looks like there's a forester movement going on at the moment in Wales with the amount of threads popping up, so I'm hoping it will be in good company.
I'm in Deepest Darkest Mid Wales, about 15-20 mins from the Elan Valley, and will hopefully be making an appearance at one of the monthly meets in the near future.
There will be more pics up soon-ish when i get round to cleaning all the summer flies off the front.
Location: Filling up with V Power somewhere in South Wales

Hi Chris, welcome along to the Welsh section of ScoobyNet. Looks like you've bagged yourself a nice fozzy there. As you've no doubt seen there's a few members in this section who own them and very happy. I'm sure Ty (Cannon Fodder) will be along soon. Enjoy your new car
I'm very happy with mine, I think they've got all the advantages of an Impreza without any other of the disadvantages.
If you've read my thread you'll see how much they benefit from a remap and a few choice modifications such as a sports cat, uprated panel air filter and a uprated fuel pump.
I do like the crystal grey colour, but of course white is the faster colour.
Enjoy the car, I think they're fantastic and very underrated.
It was between a Forester or a Mitsi (sorry) evo wagon, but having a massive strut brace across the boot didn't make a lot of sense to me with the stuff i've lugged round in previous cars (glanza and colt ralliart).
I've been following your thread Ty, had a look at that same Forester but didn't have the funds at the time.
Wheels were a big plus for me as i like jap wheels and they aren't the copy-paste Rays that seem to appear on everything now, or rota clones of them.
Lovely i bought mine from Torque gt .My wr blue looks great but its hard work to keep nice .Yes it does apear Fozzy taking over i was lonely once he he
Black was only available in facelifts as a friend found out recently, another very rare colour is the dark metallic grey, also only available in facelifts.
