On the sad note of my father selling the impreza, and awaiting the arrival of my next car after selling my polo 16v.(i've been relegated to driving a TD Astra this week) my morale has been boosted by my father purchasing a 1.7 Ford Puma this friday for me, as u can understand i would of liked to of taken the impreza off his hands however the insurance company didnt want me at the age of 20. However i am interested if you all think the puma is a nice little car to have at my age...the polo did me no favours with admiring looks from old people and laughs from the missus. My father appears to be geared on a 4x4, I think the puma was bought for me to soften the blow!
I hope everyone is well,
Chris.

Hi Chris.
I too had a Polo at your age, even managed to spin it one Sunday morning on LLantrisant road in the rain. That was 20 years ago though so I hope it doesnt take you that long to get a car as good as you want .
Enjoy your Puma and justr keep on dreaming of what you can have in the future.
Chip.

Hi again Chris.
I looked at getting a Puma when they were first launched.
You'll have fun in it I'm sure.
OK they aren't in the scooby league but they handle very well and are very nippy.
As for getting one at age 20, ....... you lucky bleeder.
I didn't even get my first car until I was 25.
Oh I remember that Escort 1600 Sport; had some fun for a while.
Say hi to your dad for me, I hope he has fun in the 4x4.

Oh no, my father is insuring me! Acker, good to hear from you, hope you're well, still bending the speed limits in that P1?
I'll pass on the message to my father, hopefully some messages like this will remind him what owning a scooby is all about!...perhaps sway him to purchasing another, there is still a glimmer of hope.
Good to hear from you,
Chris.
