It was my plan also to keep the centre cat. But the car just didnt run right with the scoobysport front pipe and catted mid section. No acceleration, turbo wasnt spooling up.
Once i put the standard downpipe back on it's flying. It's annoying they dont warn you of this when they take your money. That said the scoobysport rear silencer gives the car an awesome burble so can't be too mad with them.

The downpipe fits all classic shapes pos 92 i believe

I'd take advice about it, but after my experience I'd only ever run an uprated downpipe with a straight through mid pipe. Some people on here also suggest a chip remap if you fully decat. For the moment I'm happy with the car with just the rear box, just needs a 308mm godspeed brake kit now to stop it nearly as quickly as it goes!

May the scoob be with you

Cheers Cal

Mike,

I used to have the SS downpipe with the standard centre cat and the car ran ok Well worth the upgrade as it allows the turbo to spool up a lot quicker. Not too sure why it hasn't worked on CM's car - maybe Sam could be of some assistance???

Wot you onabout now CM

Mines fine too m8...awesome feel to the car after the fitting of a SS downpipe. I cant see how it would run any different as the only difference to the pipes is the cat which is removed on the SS. Unless you left out the sensor that plugs back into it :x

Sensor was there. Downpipe was fitted by Well lane turbo who're well respected on here. Just sounded bad as though the centre pipe was blowing and turbo wasnt spooling up. I don't understand it either but seeing as the cars fine as standard bar the back box , thats the way it's staying. Ta for the mails, Pipe still for sale.

RB5 - I don't know who u think you are, but according to your post on Friday the 7th Feb you used the word 'might'- Which means that it is only a possibility in my books and does not close a sale... ??

Your next post was on Monday the 10th and you stated that you had still not spoken to your mate !!!! I spoke wth Cal on the Sunday when the part was still available ( see above mentioned post dated - Monday 10th )and we agreed the sale... so sorry mate but you should have been more positive in your responce and a little bit quicker !!!

lol no worries man, hope the downpipe goes to a good home on a nice car

Yeah Claudius is a bit of a nasty person, we had lots of hassle with him over on the MLR forum, well i got involved in an arguement, was sticking up 4 my fellow scoobynet friend Scrappydoo!

He was the same there as he is here, causing mischief and trouble for others. When it includes a company though its v different. More serious if you ask me which is why i posted what i thought of him!;
