Hi Guys (and gals?),

I'm starting work on a short introductory documentary on the UK import and fast car scene. The first episode is on cars in Wales and your the first place I came to for possible candidates.

Before I get started though, my name is Michael Thomas and my site is www.spearheadfilms.com

I am looking for a dozen or so people to do a 60 second introduction to their car, why they bought it and what makes it special to them etc. I then need some local meets and whatever else happens here in Wales.

I know the scoob is a popular car in Wales and a great car it is indeed. Would anybody be interested in helping out? It would take around a couple of hours max per person and you'll get full credits and a copy of the film when completed on either VHS or DVD.

We are based in SE Wales BTW.

I would be glad to put my penneth' in!!

I would suggest you co-ordinate, with the likes of Sammy (above) seeing as his is a little 'keen' on the old Scooby....!!

He tends to be the one that 'starts the local meet off' with

"..... I fancy a keebab.. anyone??"

...... oh yeah he is one of them there mods aswell..... ( not to be confused with the chaps that ride sccoters!!!! Although his haircut may say otherwise!!!!!

edited to say...... we are freindly with the 'Dark side' aswell.... they mostly turn up to the meets.... and a nissan or 2!!

Excellent, I thought Scooby people would be the best to start with :-) Do you have a meeting of any kind planned in the next two weeks? A full range of Scoobs would be ideal, it doesn't matter if other cars are there too, they will all be chopped and put into their specific place in the film :-)

I'm looking at around 60 seconds per person, one on one asking about the car, mods, the driver etc.

Ok. Well, in total I need around 20 interviews but any number from one upwards would be good for now. If there are quite a few scooby owners about I could consider a 'special' on the Scoob. Depends how many there are out there.

Sat afternoon is great, I appreciate the help you've all offered already, its grand to see :-) If any of you want your websites and groups plugged let me know and I'll make sure you get screen credits too. :-)

If you can give us a rough idea of numbers please let us know so we can make sure we have enough crew to get to you all before darkness descends :-)

We will also be looking for events, meetings and like at later dates, hopefully this will turn into a nice set of films.

If any of you have any interesting anecdotes about drivers, scary moments and the like they will all have a place. Also, if anybody wants to do a private interview or is doing an upgrade or piece of maintenance on your car let us know. All of these things are great.

I will be posting up info on our site in the next few days about this project, I'm keeping it hush hush for now else we get ambushed by the public :-)

I really look forward to seeing the end result, I'm sure it'll be great. Far too often drivers come across as being from the Max Power brigade or worse still the reckless driver. Sad, bad or both
