Angry Rear Crank Seal

Renewed my warranty this morning... £454 on the Subaru Proven Two warranty package due to it's age..

Had my 75000 service done today at CVC in Cardiff which was fine.. £ 150... but they've informed me the rear crank seal is leaking.. the part costs £10, the only problem being it takes 7 and a half hours to do and the labour charges add up to around £440....and it's not covered by the warranty..

BUT

If the oil's leaked onto the clutch and contaminated it, then appparently that means a new clutch which with the costs of parts and labour pushes the price upto nearly £1000...

Plus it needs new pads and disks as mine are 22.5mm and the limit is 22mm so he said..

So, any suggestions of other places to get it done cheaper, or do I just bite the bullet?
