Question 90k Service due...Cwmbran/Newport area

Hi

My 90k cambelt service is due within the next 500 miles. Keith Price Subaru in Abergavenny and CVC Subaru in Cardiff want £600-£700 !!

Does anyone know a place in the Cwmbran/Newport/Cardiff or surrounding areas that will do it considerable cheaper ?

If anyone's seen me around these areas, Ive got the metallic deep red Impreza 2000 turbo w reg.

It sure is pal ! Carmarthen is a bit of a way but I'll give it a go if they're reasonable. I'm sure someone will know somewhere. I've had the car for about a month now, had a good deal on it. I had an s reg one a while back and went the family car way but missed it too much so bought this one ! Now the kids are a bit older they love it too !!

I'd love to meet up withyou guys anytime, just say when and where pal.

Kev's right, it's DRJ motorsport in carmarthen, only an hour and half away from newport, you could try david hendry in malmesbury (Wiltshire) very good, I think the quoted me around the £550 mark for the 60.000 miler, less than an hour from newport, believe Simb2 goes there.

I think the 90 is a big one and they change shed loads. correct me if I'm wrong.

On my 60.000 I bought the parts and had a local garage carry out the work for me, but I'll be using DRJ from now on as just up the road.

Engine oil (£40-50 for Motul 15-50) plus filter (£6-13)
gear and diff oil (£40-50 Silkolene)
They have to drain the rad to change cam belt. so new coolent (£25)
Fuel filter (£25-30
Air filter (Have K&N)
Spark Plugs (£40-50 for NGK 7B)
Brake fluid (think I paid about £30 for AP racing 5.1)
Cambelt (Can't remember how much)
Plus labor (if you say 4-5 hours).

Think the labor came to about £150 - mine came out around the 425-450 mark.

Goner book mine in for service next week at DRJ, fresh Motul oil for next weekend!!!! (if it ever arrives) Just need the neon's, F&F stickers, flamer kit and 18 year old busty blonde girlfriend and I'll fit right in with the chav's!!!!

Wouldn't say no to the 18 year old busty blonde though!!!!!!!!
