any meets in south wales?
hello new to the scooby scene! just bought a jap import wrx. is there any meets coming up and can anybody recommend some places for engine mods in the cardiff area?

As Big daz has already said, meet next tuesday at J30. should be a small gathering so come along and have a chat.
As for modding , I hope you've got deep pockets because once you've got the modding bug it'll cost you a fortune : New zorst, de-cat, wheels, spoiler, induction kit, brakes, re-map, road angel, laser jammer, lights (Don't put lexus style lights on), front mount intercooler, bigger turbo, bigging injectors, oh the list goes on.

Thanks for the replys, I don't think this "Scooby smile" is ever gonna leave my face. It was my wife (well she will be this saturday) who bought me the scooby as it was one of her dream cars, and the first post was made by her aswell, she's scobby obsessed now.
We'll try and make it in tuesday, but not sure when we are on our honeymoon.
If you do see me driving round take it easy as i'm still learning the car. lol
Quickest previous car I had was a fiesta, never ever again!

best bet regarding mods is to have a chat with some of us at meet, most of us have mods on our car, get a group of us togeather and nearly all mods are covered, this way you can see what you like and we can steer you away from the crap or not worth doing mods.
shows are always a good place to pick up bargins, saved a fortune on my brakes.
I'd give osaka as miss, Had a problem with my spoiler which didn't get resolved.
I don't think you can beat mail order, normally cheaper, check out the advert banners on here + Loads of second hand stuff on here for sale.

we have two !!!!! and will both be at the meet you will hear my mrs coming < well next door say they can ????lol> she makes up only having a 1.6gl with having the loudest scooby in wales hehe,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

I'm new on here too, living just out side newport, had my scoob for 2 years, would like to come to a couple of meets. Do you always meet on a tuesday?

no not always a tuesday its just fell like that the last couple of times because thats when most people could make it.
just keep a eye out on here.....
i will be organising a paintball or karting day out again soon aswell so hope you can free a sunday day lol...................
