What's the benefit of a WR1 over a new STi PPP/JDM STi PPP/MY05 or 06 Spec C?
Personally if I was spending SERIOUS money on a scooby I'd go for a Litchfield imported Spec C, with a bit of after sales lovin' from Powerstation

Spec C all the way. You know you won't settle for less. The WR1 that was at Ross looked mint (pun) but didn't look out there. What about specing it and getting Litchfield to do an auction search on a JDM. They recon 28 days import which will give you time to sell the toys.
BTW what are you looking to sell?

a jdm sti is better value for money over a wr1. you get everything on a wr1 + a lot more - the only thing you don't get is the ice blue paint and springs

I repeat, if you're spending MONEY, buy a Spec C (with addecd aircon and leccy windows) or a JDM STi with a full Milltek system, remap and T25 suspension kit.

WR1 is a nice car but the colour is a bit on the gay side, You'll have to buy a set of heated rollers and couple of hair dryers if you do get one.
Like everyone else has said, buy a JDM model

I had a wr1, the car was great I went on a few of the mid wales runs with it nothing was any quicker you'd have to be on a track to split hairs. as far as looks, well whatever. I quoted back in 04 about a group of girls who liked the car & a performance comparison http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/showthrea...17#post3430917 this is true & most women said the car looked the part? A good all rounder ice blue or not.
I guess its who you want to please the guys or gals.
Spec C & mr340 ??? can't decide which is best

i wouldn't worry about the colour, like we saidat the last meet
everyone has diffferent tastes in cars, i love w,r blue scooby's but a wr1 is not something
you see very often,so if you like the car get one.
