Jensen Interceptor
HI
I (sort of) have a Jensen Interceptor MK II, 7.2 litre V8. It was my brothers and I was doing a full refurb of it a few years ago, before i was posted to Cyprus.
So I left it in a spray shop/Garage at Brize Norton (oxfordshire) and it has been up there for about five years now!!
The owner of the aforementioned spray facility was supposed to be doing some work on it, but that has never really happened. So it is at the moment a shell with back axle attached and most of the parts to put it back together. Engine gearbox suspension, bodyshell has been back to bare metal and all new bodyparts and painting etc done...
I am off to the falkland Islands next thursday, and dont really know what to do with it??
Was wondering if anyone on here wants a little (!!) project, the car was my Brothers, who is unfortunately no longer with us. So as you can see i would like it to go to a good home..... Or better still become a very big team (Scoobywales) project...
Any ideas co's I am
Cheers Paul

Hi Daz
I go next thursday night, for four glorious months. Me going should not be a problem, i am still contactable by e mail etc and i can liase with the guys at the garage and stay in contact with you.
I often see groups of people on here, helping each other out and wondered if we could not do this as a group project... The guys at the garage want the space (understandably)
Whadya think, the alternative could be the scrap yard if i am not too careful
Cheers Paul

The guys at the garage want a drink (£300, they must drink alot) and i want this to go to a good home and not the knackers yard. I would just love to see this car give someone the pleasure it gave my brother, i would settle on seeing it once in a while just to appreciate it. Say if it came to one of the J30 meets, that sort of thing. Or even better the Pencoed Classic Car Show.
Money is most definitely not the issue here
What do you think
Cheers Paul
Ps The guy at the garage originally wanted....... wait for it..... £25k for storage!! I talked him out of this
Pps We would farely obviously need to get this back to Wales on a trailer etc, now with a bit of help that may not be a big issue....

I work in an office at St Athan and a classroom, it may a bit obviouse.... The days of motor clubs and the like seem to have gone... There is also the issue of time and money, and possibly having to move the car twice.
Cheers though, Paul
