Ouch
I had a close call on the M4 last week. Noticed a small piece of ply wood (6"x6") cartwheeling towards me doing ~70mph.
WHACK! It hit the front of the car out of view under the bonnet somewhere.
Stopped at the Leigh Delemere services, expecting to find damage like yours to the bumper........it had struck the front-left fog light but fortunately I fitted a pair of fog lamp covers (£23 from CVC) when I replaced a cracked fog last year (£80 for a single fog lamp ) so no damage to the glass
Of all the places on the front of the car it could've damaged it struck the cheapest and easiest thing to repair/replace Good luck for a change
Sorry to hijack your post, good luck with finding a replacement and yes, I expect a main dealer would charge you an arm and a leg.
