Default Andy Forrest re-map

Hey guys is anybody interested in a group buy on the above? Gonna try and get it arranged for about 2-3 months time to allow us all to get our mods fitted. This guy is apparently a god with mapping the apexi power fc ecu, everyone i've spoken to only has good things to say about him. For more info on him visit www.andyforrestperformance.co.uk

Turbodean organised the last 1 and said that with sharing Andy's travelling costs between 5 people, the whole lot came to about £260-£280 per person. We'll organise it so he stays in Cardiff as its central to most people

Hey mate I spoke to turbodean bout a similar thing a while back but i was under the impression it was 260 odd quid for andy's hotels etc. The price for the remapping etc was still extra on top of that. Thought id best mention it just in case. I may be wrong but thats how i understood it. Am sure dean can Clear this up

Cheers

Ian

The £260 was for the travelling cost for 2 days (think it is £200 for the first day to cover flights etc then £60-£80 for every extra day to cover hotel costs) this cost was split between 5, think we gave £55 each.

Then the mapping costs were roughly:

Ecutek Tek3 remap (including licence) £550-600
Second Tek3 (previuosly mapped by Andy) £200
Second Tek3 (previuosly mapped by someone else) £300

Apexi FC fitting and mapping £750
Second remap (previuosly mapped by Andy) £150
Second remap (previuosly mapped by someone else) £200

These are just rough guides on prices from memory, but should give you a good idea of the sort of cost your looking at. The secondary map's on the Ecutek are a lot cheaper as you all ready have the licence.

Anyone thinking about a remap should jump at this. Andy remapped my WRX today and the difference is astounding.

As Dean says defo need a remap due to fact its a different turbo from a standard one for your car, also a remap should help with any lag issues u have because of the front mount IC. A remap would also take full advantage of any other mods u have such as a decat or induction kit.

Only prob is he'll be flying into Cardiff Airport and staying in a hotel in cardiff. Apparently the hotel he stayed in last time was right off the motorway so should be easy to find. Just take the day off work, come down meet the boys and make a day of it

Yeah still going ahead, just gonna give it a month or 2 for people to get their mods done, myself included. Gonna try and draw up a proper list of names in about a month. About 3 or 4 people interested already. Be well worth the wait, apparently he's the daddy for the Apexi ECU's. Spoke to the guys in Powerstation about him and they speak highly of him. Cheers for the interest Chris.

Taylor.

Default Remap by Andy Forest.

Just emailed Andy Forest to try and organise for him remap my Apexi power fc prior to reading this post. So if this group buy is still going ahead, Im interested so count me in. I'll email Andy to arrange for my remap to be included in the group buy if this is okay with eveyone.

Cheers

Jon

Yeah still going ahead, just waiting for everyone including myself to get bits fitted, gonna be about 8 weeks until we get this organised hopefully. The best things come to those who wait, and i've been assured Andy is the best. Just keep an eye on the board and when everyone is ready we'll get the ball rolling
