HIya
Got a 97 uk impreza just been out and it's cut out twice. Turn ignition off and fires up straight away. Any Ideas? Could it be fuel related as i had to put Sainbury's super in last night cause my shell garage was closed? Any1 know where i can take it round Bridgend area?

Cheers
Darren

To test the MAF meter. When the car is idling and warm disconnect the MAF. If the engine continues to run the MAF is cream crackered (ECU is compensating for the MAF). If the engine dies like John Wayne at the Alamo then it's OK so you will have to look elsewhere, check things like the fuel pump, thermostats may be not be opening .

Hope this helps. Also Sainsbury's Super or Tesco 97/99 is more than OK for a UK model. Don't bollock about looking for Optimax all the time.
