Default Fitting Apexi boost control

Help needed. I've bought a Apexi 3 port Boost Control Kit but from japland . So, the instructions aren't in English .

Does anybody have the instructions in english or knows how to fit the kit?

Cheers

In the kit there should be a three core wiring harness which connects directly from the ECU to your map sensor. The boost control valve vents locally to atmosphere so make sure when fitting, direct the vent down to avoid collecting water. The com hose line from the Apexi boost control valve supplies your actuator and the return line connects to the no hose line return. The electrical supply to the the apexi boost valve is a two core wire, red positive and black negitive. This is the same as what is on the original subaru wiring loom.

Think it's the Boost Control Kit for the Apexi FC he wants to fit, not an AVCR, but i'll be getting an AVCR soon, so might need a hand

Fitted the kit yesterday. But the problem I got now is the 'check engine' light is on permanently. And boost goes to 0.5bar at 3,800rpm and doesn't get to 1bar until 6,000rpm. What have I done wrong?

And when you disconnect the battery, does the Apexi ECU reset itself?

Apparantly the Apexi ECU won't loose it's memory as it has it's own battery back up, not sure how long it will remember for though.

As for what u've done wrong can't help u there.

I asked Andy this and he said you can take the ECU out and leave it on the shelf for a year and it won't lose its memory, it has to be reset to go back to a base map. U prob just need to adjust your settings on the FC commander as when Andy mapped the car you didn't have a boost controller fitted. Best bet give Andy a ring, he's sure to help.
Taylor.

Right. The problem was I'd disconnected the OE boost (map) sensor and the ECU must have gone into safe mode. So, is there anything I can do using the commandor? Like select the Apexi boost control rather than the OE map sensor.
