Exclamation Must See TV Tonight. type25

I forgot to say yesterday but Jason Plato is taking the Type25 for a little spin tonight on the Channel 5 motoring show at 8pm.

Should be worth a watch

i don't think the review did the car justice, they showed the brake set-up but did they mention anything to do with braking power? Needed timed comparisons against other cars to put it in perspective

I was suprised by the 'standard look' under the bonnet that they went for, while still producing over 400 horses ( on a top mount)

But it did seem to handle well........ obviously nothing to do with the driver....

I wouldn't turn one down.........

Thought Litcho would have popped his face in to say helllooooo ...

The type 25 rev range seems very short or is this because of the shorter ratio gearbox from the spec C. The car deserves a better review, Top Gear's track test will prove a better comparison against the EVO FQ360 etc.
Still impressive though

Ian was not there when they did the Forester STi

Bet he's grinning like a Cheshire Cat today.

Very "John Smiths"...................positive thinking of a very fine package indeed. To say it is bought by supercar owners for a run around and then to find out it's faster than their supercar is a fantastic thought.

Powerstation, Rich, Dirk, Andy and the guys have really upped the ante. Hopefully not their prices as they bask in the glow of fame.

Well done guys. I'll be back for some thing soon

They didn't mention Cosworth, but in the beginning when they went around the car they showed the Cosworth decal - oh and be thankful that you have an 06 model, and not the old ladies that some of us have......

From what I understand Cosworth have started building the engines, it's a recent development. I'm not sure how many on the road at this moment will have the cossy lump in.... maybe only one or two, but it must give the potential buyers great confidence to spend the cash.

Could of been a better review, didn't really seem to talk about the good bits and didn't really push the car.

I'm just glad it was one of the first items, saved having to watch the rest of the crap

well if five have run the car I wonder when will top gear will be putting it around the track ? both shows seem to share the same road tests.
At least the TG review will have a little more substance to it.

I might be wrong, but TG hasnt reviewed any of the hawkeye models yet have they, and 5th Gear did a piece on it about 6 months ago along with the forester Sti (another one i thought i would see on TG). I thought they might review it since it is a new look and engine size but they seem too busy killing caravans these days.

Still impressive though

Only 5th and 6th are shorter on JDM cars aren't they or does the Spec C have different ratios all together?
