Well, I went along to the RR day at WesTec. After the Evos went through, it was the might of the Scoobs (well, 2 of us anyway
)
Personally, with only a Prodrive Sports Cat, Decat centre section, K&N Panel Filter and a stainless exhaust I wasn't expecting anymore than around 280bhp for a MY05 STi
Certainly not 334bhp![Big Grin](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
Torque was only 287 tho![Cry2](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/cry2.gif)
I was surprised to say the least, no wonder it felt quicker than my old 290bhp Classic![Thumb](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/thumb.gif)
Remap next methinks

They must be optamistic rollers can't see you gaining that much from just an exhaust and panel filter
, the newage STI's with TEK3 remap's were only making around 330bhp on Powerstations rollers and PPP were making around 305bhp.

I was thinking that too, all the others seemed to be pretty much spot on. DRgonman off here has got the PPP with de-cat and few other mods and saw just over 310

The VF35 seems to max out at about 330-350 so if your making that much without re-map then fair play to you. The PPP with a few mods at 310 seems a good bench mark to compare to.

I thought that too, but then again, you can get some JDMs producing much more than the standard 276bhp 'out of the box' so maybe it can happen to UK spec cars too ![Wink](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/wink.gif)
I'm the first owner (it was a demonstrator) and did have a wee look to see if the PPP (or a different one) ECU was in there after todays results

as a benchmark my JDM with full exhaust system, sports cat, STI filter and Tek 3 remap hit 340bhp with 330 lbs of torque at powerstation - figures will be higher after saturday though![Big Grin](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
Your torque curve seems a bit old - it seems to drop of a 4.5k and pick back up by 6k?

that chart says your peak power is at 7300 rpm.
Seems very very high. Should your peak power be around the 6000 mark ?
