I can't understand it myself. We're all british after all.
Lets have a look and bare in mind I'm english, lived there for 27 years.
House prices - Cheaper than England
Council tax - Cheaper than England
Population - Less than England (Less cars on the road)
Schools - Smaller classes - longer schooling hours = better education
Cost of leaving - Cheaper than England
And finaly we come to Roads - Wales has some of the best roads, up over the mountians is awesome. All the road by me have either been resurfaced or are being resurfaced, all have white lines down the sides and cats eyes in the middle. All the signs are visable and clean, the council cleans them and cut any obstructions.
I have to say they are very proactive when it comes to gritting/snow. I used to live in wiltshire and when it snowed the whole county ground to a halt. In 4 years of being over here we've never had any problems, all roads are kept clear even with 6" of snow.
So in short would I move back??
Not a chance!!!
So what have some narrow mind racist got to say????

Mind you, is it me or does every road in the Swansea area lead to Tescos, either that or i've just been driving around in circles for the last month. And another thing, i travel around a bit during course of job and i've never seen so many Scoobs in one area, does every household in Wales own one? must be manditory to take advantage of all the twisties. Having said that, the traffic lights seem to be permanently on red and there's a speed camera on every corner. Never mind, can't have it all.

This was rather annoying, and yes do sometimes get annoyed. Wont hold it against the chap mind, just found it a bit much when he hasnt really intrduced himself on here yet. I always say speak as I find, at the moment not too good is it see but

im with dan cant see what the problem is with english and welsh i love everyone.as most of you know im english and moved to wales when i was 7 (so not long ago)and when i got married my wifes family lived in wiltshire so we moved there to be close to her nan,but she saidly passed away and there was nothing good there sorry,so we moved back. im english through and through but i loves it ere i does.iv never met a more freindly bunch you do get the odd person wanting to pick a fight (wide)but other than that its lovely and i wouldnt change it for the world.

the Middle East over there will be a hot spot. Over there I've placed continent of white people and over there is a continent of black people",
God continued, pointing to different countries. "And over there, I call
this place America. North America will be rich and powerful and cold,
while South America will be poor, and hot and friendly. And the little spot in
the middle is Central America, which is a hot spot. Can you see the balance??"
"Yes!" said the Archangel, impressed by Gods work, and then he pointed to a small country in Northern Europe, "what's that one?"
"Ah," said God, "That's Cymru (or Wales), the most glorious place on Earth.
There are beautiful snow capped mountains, untouched rivers, streams and lakes of exquisite, timeless beauty. The people make a drink called cwrw (or beer) which means the 'Water of Life'. The people are good looking, intelligent and humorous and they're going to be found travelling the world. They'll be extremely sociable, hard working and high achieving, and they will be known throughout the world as warriors, engineers, inventors and pioneers".

I love Great Britain and I love WALES ENGLAND SCOTLAND AND IRELAND (NORTH AND REPUBLIC) I love all those those who are willing to shout for their particular corner of our fine country. (no matter what the half wits in power say and what the media portray there is much to be proud of in this country of ours)
If we like to champion our own little corners then so be it for I know that when sh*t hits the fan and we have real trouble on our hands we unite and conquer.

I love Wales first, then maybe Britain comes in somewhere down the list, but probably not to be honest!! Although I respect people for who they are and how good they are at taking the **** out of each other, and all the guys I have met from here, including the English lads are great for some banter and friendly rivalry. Especially since England have been crap at the rugby!!
But Superstar, that's some straight-up offensive crap, and if you spouted something like that in front of me, i'd probably slap you!!
