Could be other reasons for being stuck on 120. If it was an import that has been converted to MPH by replacing the dials then the speedo will only go up to 120 (since the car is limited to 112mph) so a simple electrical fault could have caused it to end up there.
Or he could have been going faster than 120, who knows.
That said a couple of drunken chavs in some frence piece of **** managed to do some severe front and back end damage to their car (and demolish my neighbours wall) despite not doing much over 30. Cheeky ******* asked me to tow them home before plod arrived too as they had no insurance.

To hit a wall at 120mph he would have to have been going quicker.. most people manage to find the brakes when they loose it or there is an impact imminent!
Not many people drive into a wall at full throttle unless somethings wrong, or they did it on purpose!

I'm pretty sure this is the accident in Llwynypia just after the lights by the hospital. Impossible to be doing 120 where it happened.
From what I can gather went round bend by lights and just lost it, ploughed into a house a few yards past the lights. The front of the house is still taped off now. He would have killed someone if there was anyone on the pavement. Quite some structural damage to the front of the house though. Think the guy is from Tonyrefail, used to have a silver Classic I've been told.

sorry to sound dumb but wouldn't a 120 MPH impact into a wall do 2 things
1. Kill the driver
2. Utterly destroy the car
even if he glanced of the wall at that speed surely he would have bounced into several other objects.
120 is insanely fast to be having a crash in a street. especially in vally towns. there is barely enough room to fart on most of them.
I'm thinking of what the streets are like in the valley I live

sorry bossurk, i didn't mean to imply that i thought you had said that he was doing 120. i was just speculating that if the needle was correct he would be either dead or the car completely mashed
