Well In don't know what to say.............. I am gobsmacked to say the least.
Yet I think this was coming, I find it strange to be honest that you felt the need to start you own club. I know things haven't been great as the club got split and you guys decided to go your own way but starting another club just for yourselves seems odd.
Off the top of my head I can think of god knows how many other car clubs in wales. Teamosaka, Tatsu, Cymru Jap Club, South Wales Jap Club, South Wales Cruise, G-Tec & Pistonheads SW theres more I know but can't think of them at the moment. And we attend a few of these along with SWS meets , so joining in with other folk would have been an easy option .
But I suppose I should just say , hope all goes well .
What I would like to know is how does this stand with SIDC.
Are you keeping your RO with them and how will you then support the rest of Wales members looking for event information.
I think this is something ALL members of South Wales will want to know.

I take it from this post that you will no longer be posting up SIDC info on scoobynet?
If this is the case i'll insure that peeps on here get all the upto date info so no one misses out.

Fear not Guys i have not turned my back on anyone and i will still be posting sidc info here as before.
i do not intend to stop posting on scoobynet As Big Daz says i enjoy the banter and have some friend on here.
C.S.C. i just a venture to give other Scoobie Drivers even more options for more meets and runs as i like them and will still be going to week day meets as i am fortunate enough to be able to attend the both
Thanks for the support Guys

Best of luck with the new club and site. I'm sure you'll make a sucess of it.
I've tried to stay out the rubbish that had been flying around with regards to the divide that appeared between your family orientated group and those Old school/single/no kids or those that just want to get away from the kids group. But I'm affraid I can no longer, You've posted this thread up to bait replies and i'll take the bait and give you a reply.
As I've said before, I couldn't give a Monkeys left ball who goes to whos meet on whichever day of the week but everyone that does attend should be made to feel welcome (No matter what they drive) and that they have a good time. I've always tried to speak to new members but I also use the meets to catch up with very good friends that I don't get to see often due to where everyone lives. Yes the meets do tend to devide up into two groups, Those that eat and those that don't but once the food is finished everyone rejoins back into one big group for a good chin wag. The meets were never indended to turn into runs etc, but simply a chance to get together to have a chat and see what others have done to there cars.
It would appear that even though everyone said the antics of the last couple of months was water under the bridge, this is clearly not the case and this would appear to me to be giving us all the middle finger by starting your own club.
I've noticed that over the last 6 months you have organised privite meets, runs, Day trips and nights in/out between your group of friends, This alone doesn't bother me but posting "Thanks for a great day" threads kind of rubs me up the wrong way. It's as if you as an organiser didn't want to invite everyone but are quite happy to rub there noises in the fact they weren't invited.
I've had a look at your forum and find some of the replies on the threads interesting to say the least.
I for one think this is a good move and I'm more than happy for the two groups to go there own ways.

Hi everyone chris(wrx, sti) and myself have been thinking about starting a new taxi club up,we will be hopeing to hold monthly meets and maybe the odd run but taxi metrers will have to be switced on as you cant use the cars for personal use.
This is not only for skoda octavias other models are welcome incluing private hire, we will hopefully have this up and runing within ther next couple of months.
Thanks mark.
