hi all.
i was just thinking of getting the timing belt changed on the scooby and the guy i baught it off tells me i dont need to change it till 75000 miles . seems a bit long for a perfomance car to me. can any body help cheers

i think you might find that the belt needs to be done at 60k

Scoobs are done on age or mileage. Whatever comes first but look at 3/5 years or 30 and 60K.

It says in the service manual when it should be changed (think it vary's with model) and as Blue said it is age or mileage which ever come first.
Mine has not long had it's 3rd belt fitted and the car is 8 years old with 67K on the clock.
