Thumbs up Prospeed Exhausts Cardiff

Picked up my WRX 2.5 earlier from Prospeed and my god what a difference in the sound It now sounds just like an impreza should, a deep throaty warble on tickover and on acceleration it sounds like hell being unleashed. Charlie the owner is an absolute professional and could not be more helpful if he tried.

I had a 3" system with a 100 sport cat mated to a Prodrive silencer as I like the style, it may not be the cheapest system compared to Ebay jobs but my god it is certainly the best.

It had made a big difference to the acceleration as well, better pickup and it would appear as well to give quite an up to the bhp as well.

I would recommend anybody to go to Prospeed for a top job and a total transformation to the sound of your car

Glad to hear it went well mate. You will have far more power with the new system, it makes a big difference, but i would suggest looking into getting it mapped since you removed one of the cats and put the sport cat on. It will ensure that the engine is running at its best, since you have altered some of the factory standards the ECU program needs to be updated, its well worth it.
It does sound great doesnt it!!

Yes I am going to get it mapped probably by JGM in the new year after I have got the expense of christmas out of the way and hopefully before that I will get an STi intercooler fitted first

The exhaust has tranformed the car and made it far more enjoyable to drive, it sounds really good and I cannot understand why they do not come as standard after all you don't buy an Impreza if you don't enjoy the sound

Hi, I paid £560.00 I think the sports cat added around about £250.00 to the cost, I am sure that they are mandrel bent so he must have the equipment now.

Im toying with the idea of going back down to him to get a new back box. Nothing wrong with the one i have, its quite loud at the moment but i went for the mid sound range, so i am thinking of going louder which means i may have a 3" Prospeed back box for sale after christmas. Charlie says he can fit it to the standard 2.5" system too so it will be good for any system. I havnt decided yet though, still counting pennies!

£560 including the sports cat but not including the silencer, i already had a prodrive silencer which was used by Prospeed, cracking sound from the system.

And Charlie at Prospeed is a really top bloke who really knows his stuff.

The silencer will add £290 to the cost of a full system, at least thats what it costs on its own
