Right guys bit more info.
As most of u know i've always wanted a 2 door, so when the chance came up to swap mine for a one, it was something i had too seriouly consider, after going to Nottingham to see the car last weekend and spending over a week thinking about it i decided to go for it.
The car is a V5 STI Type R V-Limited with 87K on the clock and it's got:
A rebuilt bottom end with Omega pistons
VF22 Turbo
Richard Bulmer Tek3 Re-map
Load of Samco and Zero-sports bits under the bottom.
Full 3" Exhaust
RCMS Stage 2 Fuel Pump
RCMS Headers
Exedy Up-rated Organic Clutch.
Eibach Springs
Lots of Whiteline bits inculding ALK
17" BK racing wheels with T1R's
Compbrake 330mm big brake conversion (2 piece disc's)
Lamco Gauges
Probably some bits i'm missing![Ponder2](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/ponder2.gif)
Some pics from when we did the swap:

I'm not planning on doing to much to this, made the mistake of spending miles to much on the last car, to the point where i completly lost interest in it.
Couple of things i do plan to do r:
Fit my Alpine DVD player (which i kept out of my car)
Orange wedges to black on the front bumper.
Crsytal Side Lights
In the longer term (if i don't loose my job):
STI 6 front Lip Spoiler
Refurb the Inlet Manifold (looks typically scabby)
New Wheels (not fussed on the BK's, probably get some Inovit STVI's)
Possibly a Newage STI Intercooler.

Yes must admit drive down was bit boring on my own,but driving back cross country to Carnetix in Melton was mint, the acceleration in your old one in 1st/2nd on map 1 is pretty similar to the R but then the sheer pace power and long legs really impressed me.Glen at Carnetix(top guy)was fairly impressed with work/spec.
Think immediate plans is PSRK ,window tints and shares in Shell/Tesco! Crikey on map2 it seriously guzzles but its bloody worth it,defintely fastest car either been in or owned.
Look forward to me and some mates meeting up early 09' down the Brecons!!
Glad your happy with R pal.
Speak soon.
Scott.
ps Think it would be fair to say ive got probably fastest and best specced scoob around my way now

Agree, the 2 cars are so different, the R lightweight, manic gearing and torque makes it such fun,but like you say been there done that.
I just pray with this being my 9th scoob and by far the most modified that i dont get itchy feet to soon
Think when mastered that paddle clutch will be loving it.

The paddle is a bit harsh but not that bad really.

Really like the Inovit STVI's (Volk TE37 Replicas) not sure weather to stick with 17's or go for 18's again though

I found if i held the car at about 1500rpm for a few second the idle would improve.
