That is most likely front wheel drive and looking at the rear fog light an import possibly... that's the first one like that I have seen but the 1.6 models are about Ryan.

It's a lot to pay when UK Turbo's are going for the same money. But, I know what you mean as a first car, if I had the cash I may be tempted into a deal.

Havnt seen a classic with this engine mate just a bugeye and newer, but then ive not seen any classics on as new a plate as this either. Its probably an import from cyprus, malta maybee. With it being an import model not sold in uk (i think ) insurance might be more than you think.

It even has Sti rear lights

As said because its an import insurance may be a bit high, have a ring around to find out first.

Prob be cheaper in the long run to get a uk model Ryan. They'll sting you big style on the insurance otherwise. Plenty of classic turbo's being broken to get the turbo bonnet/bumpers and the like. Thats the route i'd go. Ask Mark for a sub

A scooby will come in good time Ryan, we all had to start somewhere

I'm not trying to put you off one but get a year or two under your belt with a little run around and build up some NCB, the thought of someone paying 2k for insurance scares the pants off me

Sorry for being all old and sensible
