hi again folks does anyone recommend someone to repair the bottom end or replace ideally in south wales i had contacted these but have no feedback on them and a bit uncertain of them Car Engine Rebuilds, Engine Reconstructions, Engine Reconditioning, UK
don't want to pay api prices as £3000 is a lot for this job so around half this i think is fair. we will see
i have tried ace motorsport but no answer and ideally need a direct contact to anyone recommended many thanks mj

i have booked the car at api the £3000 i mentioned in original message was for a back to day 1 repair however i have gone for the lower cost option but have confidence in api's proven reputation and had the pleasure of speaking to david today he really does give you confidence and sounds like a very intelligent man .. if only everyone was like this . my previous attempts to approve someone the work really wasnt very fruitful and left me feeling whether or not i could trust an honest company and i struggled to find anyone with a good long term reputation so although i am paying more than i wanted and had been quoted elsewhere [albeit unproven] the fact api uphold a near perfect reputation has tipped the balance . anyone in a similar position please speak to david as i have found the whole experience so far exceptional
my car should be collected by friday and repaired in ten days and considering it has been sat on my drive and sorn since august end 2008 it will feel a bit like having a new car again once repaired! who knows maybe i will want to keep it too!!

i think it may need a little boost when shes humming again for sure david
i gave it a 5 hr slow charge which indicated after a %25 charge level!! so reckon a 4yr heavy duty magic eye one locally be next on the list.
