Default CVC-What a joke!!!

Can't believe the attitude on cvc...if they want customer's they go about it the wrong way...

Phoned them today for a part for my build, which was a water pump gasket, and who ever answered the phone just said to me in a split second no we dont have them, didnt even bother lookin, didnt even have the curtesy to ask me if i wanted them to order one...when i asked him if he knew off anywhere else i would be able to get one?? he said no i wouldnt get one anywhere..!!!

So then phoned back because i forgot to ask about 2 o-rings for the block, and spoke to the fella and explained what o-rings they were and where they were situated on the block, he said to me he didnt have a clue what o-rings i was on about, and after 15 mins of him looking and me waitin on the phone, got back to me and said they didnt have any in stock as they vary rarely use them, which i would of thought a subaru place would of had them in...

After he said he could order them in, i asked about the water pump gasket again and if he could order that, to which he said he could have them in by the morning for me to pick up!!!!

So i cant understand why he couldnt have said this in the 1st place that i could off ordered and had it the next day???

And just cant get over the attitude he had when he spoke to me,it was like he didnt give a damn couldnt be bothered to look or help at all....

This is not the first time i have had to get parts with them, have had hassle and attitude before....people who work in the parts department of a main subaru place would know what parts are what...but they just made it so hard...

If anyone knows off anywhere else to get genuine parts from, let me knows so i dont have to deal with cvc in the future...

Last month I needed some rubber caps off the newage impreza boot arm's, they asked me for a chassis number so I told them to use any of the numbers they had on the forecourt

They were 67p for two and on a special delivery from Japan, took 3 weeks to land but they got them for me so cant complain

Keith Price without a doubt Lee. When my lower speedo cable went on mine, the guy in parts was very helpful even when i said it was an import. He asked for the chassis number, then emailed Subaru Japan for a part number and price, then ordered it for me and it was here within 3 days. 10 out of 10 for service! Had loads of probs with CVC before, although the last time i got parts from them they were pretty good.

when i do get good service i let people know if i get bad i do too so they only got their selves to blame

My experiences have taught me to look at the individual and not always the business they represent.

I got my car off keith Price. Knowing what I know now I would never have done that but there you go.

I was sold a line about buyin imports that would make your hair stand on end.

But when the synchro mesh went on the gear box they jumped to help, no questions asked (still under warranty at the time). One of the fitters (geezer with a moustach smokes rollies) was spot on.

Not long after, the dash board clock died. I popped in to tell them, the same guy swapped it for a new one without question again.

I have not had much to do with CVC but they seem to have been kind to us collectively so can't fault them.

Granted tho Lee there can be a bad apple in every barrel.

Experience has also taught me that if I am not happy talking to one particular person from a business I can always ask if there is someone else I could speak to.
