Chris used these on three of the previous Scoobs. No problems.

Son in law is using them on his ST 220 and says there great. I'll be putting them on the Foggy STi alloys when they go. For the price and performance can't fault them.

Good choice

Falkens are ok but wear out rather quickly. I Buy Bridgestone Re 040's @ £125 a piece, you only get what you pay for

With a lot of things i would agree with that statement, but with tyres when u buy the like of Bridgestone, Michelin etc i think u r paying a premium for name.

My mate owns a tyre buisiness and he uses and recommends Verdestein tyres over the branded makes, they generally do better in the Auto Car tyre tests (i know they came 1st for quite a few years in a row)

I either get them off my mate (GT Tyres, Cwmcarn) or off the net where there's sometimes some real bargins about (last set of Avons i bought for my last car came off ebay, cheaper than my mate could get them cost)

Remember too, the big names often have budget brands too. Fulda are the budget name for Goodyear. Previous years tread designs, older compounds, but they were good a couple of years back when the sidewall said Goodyear on it, so they should be good now. Never had issues with Hankook myself, having run them on several cars over the years. Falken, Khumo and Federal seem respected on here too, as does Nankang. I'll be fitting NS2's to my instructing car soon, and at £37 a corner I don't think I'll be upset with them either
