car crash today
As title kerri and i was on the way home today from picking up a new pram for the baby and had my ford focus hit on a roundabout and car is a right off i was hit by an articulated lorry and the driver was foreign he was in the outside lane and thought he was going the same way as me and then turned and smashed into me hit me into a bollard and the car went around 4-5 foot in the air and ended up facing the other way kerri had to go to hospital and has some minor injures but is OK and I'm just abit sore it was just luck that seren was not in the car as we left her with kerri's mother
i have alot of phoning to do in the morning to sort everything out and not sure if we will be able to make the meet yet but will keep you posted

Gutted for you Lee! As everyones already said, thank god Seren wasn't in the car. Hope Ceri and yourself aren't too bad. Like Daz said turn it into a positive and start building a case towards your personal injury claim. Plenty of photo's and write down a thorough description with sketches while its still fresh in your mind. Thats what the foreign company will be doing. Foreign truckers are a nightmare, i was almost run of the road by one while driving my lorry a few months back, again on a roundabout, they just cut across without looking half the time.

I am gutted for you having been in a accident myself, a foreign doctor decided to try and do a 3 point turn on the M4 in front of me and I hit him and barrel rolled 6 times before coming to a stop upside down.
The one saving grace to take is that your daughter was not in the car and that you both walked away from the accident, remember that any car is just a lump of metal that can be replaced.
Good advice from Taylor write down all the details, try and get some photographs of the roundabout if possible, draw some diagrams, police and hospital reports as this will all help with your compensation claim.
