Personally I would keep your car as it is much newer than the evo 6 you have been looking at

I do like evo's and was gutted when an evo 8 came up for sale locally a week after I bought the Impreza, but on reflection I think I made the right choice.

The only Evo I would have is an Evo9 as in comes with the additional aluminium panels such as the bonnet, boot, front wings and roof as standard, these were originally limited to the Evo8 MR editions.
So the Evo9 is 100 kgs lighter than the hawkeye Subaru, also the Evo9 is the first of the mivec generation engines and can make 415bhp & 415 Ib/ft on a decat and uprated fuel pump with a remap and the handling is truely amazing. These can be bought for under 15 grand so I'm trying to resist buying one myself.
