Default My old Foggy as been injured.........

Just had an answer phone message from Scott who bought my Foggy saying " Gis a ring mate you'll never guess what's happened!"

I was thinking it had blown up or had a major fault but no.......................

Some Feecking TESCO truck driver not only hit it once but twice and then drove off His misses was OK but FFS!

Thankfully he was stopped but his reply was "Get the store manager he'll sort it out!"

Now, Scott's not to be trifeled with and sorted him out. But the Foggy now needs a tail gate, rear bumper, right rear light cluste and panels

I really feel sick to the stomach. Poor fella.

Scott, if your looking in you know how I feel mate

It is a shame about the damage to the Foggy as it was without doubt one of the best examples in the UK , at least everyone got out ok.

The driver should be facing the sack as he does the company, the general public or HGV drivers in general no favours , I hope he at least get some penalty points on his licence at the very least.

Tesco drivers are a nightmare. The majority of them are "agency" drivers these days and their standard of driving is usually well below industry standard and they don't give a toss, hence him saying go and see the store manager. The annoying thing is he probably won't face any discipline as he doesn't work for Tesco and the agency are unluckly to punish him. I'm not slating all Agency drivers...just the majority!

Gutted for him tho Ian as it's such a clean car and he's only just had it.

also if he is an agency driver he will have to deal with the agency's insurance
not tesco's . but tesco's should be able to give him all the info
last year i went on hols agency driver hit 4 of my severn trailers i was told later the driver had never driven a manual gear box before only auto

I must say that having worked in commercial vehicle dealerships for 17 years I am surprised that most but not all agency drivers can even start their vehicles.

The state of some of the vehicles we see where I work is shocking considering that they are put in charge of 44 tonnes - 6 axles of death unleashed upon our roads. We regularly see all the mirrors smashed in, clutches burn out and gearboxes destroyed through abuse.

It's Wayne who used to be in CVC, so it will be a dogs danglies job. The quote for the insurance is £3000.
