2003 rear lights on a 2002 WRX ????
Hi all, anyone know if the 2003 rear light set (with that raised circle thing) will fit 2002 Bugeye, with no bumper mods, have had 2 replies on SIDC, both conflicting 1 says yes need bumper as well, other said remove a small "rubber" strip from under the light and it will fit OK - anyone done it ?????

Thanks for that Guys - I'm a bit gutted they weren't a straight swop, but the guide is excellent, not a bargain mod i was hoping for, unless the dremmel is unleashed on my poor rear end - I wonder how much would need to be ground off, doesn't look like that much - but then, would be worried of going to far and it would show with the new cluster in ...........

These can be fitted to a bugeye..the round bit at the bottom overlaps the bumper, so no cutting required...
Taken from the web somewhere..can't remember..
Before..
After
you DO NOT need to cut the rear bumper at all, you just need to remove this little foam piece from under the circle part of the tail lights as pictured below
The round part of the tails sticks out over the bumper cover, thus, you don't need to cut it. Also notice that the leading edge of the tail light fits the contour of the light housing better on the side of the car, no more ledge between the body and the light
