Live from WRC Spain 09
Hi Guys, here we are at WRC Spain on day one of our trip.
After a safe journey we headed over to the service park where the teams are setting up.
We got invited in by Petters team for a look at the new car
The hotel is fantastic and very close to the service area, this is our view every morning for the next few days
Thats all for now, further updates as we go.
Time for a few cold beers.

If I sign in as myself Kev will be snookered as he can't remember his password.... just to let you know the rally has not even started and we have had a great opening day the car looks mint and sounds fantastic when running this should be quite a weekend.Petter seems happy focus and relaxed I see a different side of him on this trip, I think he could be right up there again very soon stood up on the podium all being well.
As Kev has said updates to follow

Si here If I sign in as myself Kev will be snookered as he can't remember his password.... just to let you know the rally has not even started and we have had a great opening day the car looks mint and sounds fantastic when running this should be quite a weekend.
Petter seems happy focus and relaxed I see a different side of him on this trip, I think he could be right up there again very soon stood up on the podium all being well.

Day 2.
Another great day to-day, all sorts going on.
The historic cars are running after the WRC, here are a few of the cars running in the event.
Hows this for a wide arch Mk2 Escort.
Petter kindly invited us back to his service park.
Thats all for now, the real action starts tomorrow first stage starts 08.42

Day 3
It was a warm one to-day for sure, up at silly o'clock and headed for stage 2 and 5 with service at the end of the day.
We found Matts Osberg (spelling) in the service area so stopped for a chat.
Two Solbergs ? Whats going on here.
Thats it for to-day a swift beer and bed ready for another early start tomorrow.

So jealous!
The only time I went to Catalunya in October (2003 - based Lloret) it was freezing, there was ice on the grass under that famous bridge (where Sainz did a 360).
Keep the pics coming and ask Petter where and when he's testing next week for Rally GB
