Had a great day at Pembrey yesterday. Did see Calvin (and Dad?) parking up and a few other scoobs parked. Freezing cold but I walked around a lot to try and warm up.
Witnessed the Corsa rolling by the go kart track on SS2. Walked over to the beach road for SS3 and saw a few offs there due to the slippery conditions.
Peter Lloyd's Scooby never fails to impress me with it's braking and acceleration, what an animal that car must be to drive.
Most entertaining driver was a Pug 309, handbraking all over the place at any hint of a corner and totally sideways. Lost the back end (literally) of the car on SS4 by the look of it though but still came back out on SS5 looking more like a 205.
Totally frozen by the end of the rally though but great action.
Anyone else go?

Yea, I went down... awesome day but it was a bit nipply. The car I fell in love with (apart from peters scooby ) was car 16 the blue mark 2 escort with a grey stripe, wow that car has some power.

That'll be Manfred Kampshchulte's Mk2 Escort. He was revving the nuts of that all day to be fair. Don't know what spec it is but your right, it's a powerful car. Looking at the results, that MR2 finished in 16th place overall...blimey!

It was a good day and dry for a change Manfred's Mk2 is a awesome machine but for the price im not surprised Good to see a few of the SWS lads out there braving the icy conditions. Saw Dean as i was parking. Then saw Danny's beast in the car park then saw Mat on the way out defrosting his feet in the car And also good to see MrMelon's car back in one piece
Also i have to say that it has to be the busiest rally i've ever been to in Pembrey I have to thank Peter Lloyd and the Melvyn Evans motorsport team for the warming cup of coffee half way through the day
Rool on a great rallying season in 2010

Defrosting my feet was a must, wet feet and cold just dont go together.
Though like you said Calv, thats the busiest I've seen it at Pembrey for awhile.
A good day in all with lots to see at which once again Peter Lloyd and Damien Cole's cars are in a league of there own.
Roll on the next event which I think is the Red Dragon rally then the Wye dean on Feb 13th.
