Well I am cos I'm on call until tomorrow morning so no beer for me tonight.

Thank you Mike, quite a few have offered to have "one for me"
I'm off duty tomorrow morning then back on for 6 days from 2nd Jan
At least the both of us will have the pleasure of a clear head tomorrow morning.
I might just make a few EARLY morning phone calls tomorrow morning just to make sure people are AWAKE

I was on call Boxing Day, only got 8 calls but the first one was Brecon!! Add that with a van limited to 62mph and you've got a very grumpy Merv!! 
3 hours in total just for a 'slightly noisy' fan on a boiler!!

I wasn't going to feel sorry for myself, but I am now

What a night, went to a mate's party where naturally everyone was getting pi$$ed, All except me. Anyway at 3am my mates mother who happened to be dressed as a toxic fairy
threw herself off a high stool and broke her arm
As I was the non drinker it was my job to get her off to hospital where she still is waiting for an op to get her arm pinned.
So in a nut shell, no beer, no sleep but at least my first good deed of 2010 was done
BTW my mate is Martin the guy who came to Barca with us.

im going to moan i went to that party and i feel sorry for myself because i stayed there till 5am and my driver didnt turn up to take me home so i had to walk, how unfair. Then i must have had a bug because when i got up i was feeling really ill and was sick and everything, thats just not fare life is cruel sometimes. love to all happy new year.
