i cant wait to get mine sprayed now,
ive rebuild the g/box twice now (fitted the gear selector with it in gear so all had to come apart again and put it into neutral and back together
)
and after all that it was the bloody cv joint causing the judder
it needed a seal and a bearing though so wasnt done for nothing

After checking the weather yesterday and had seen it was going to be a good day, I went for alittle spin upto Monmouth via Tintern.
Though I may have to go for another tomorrow to make the most of it.
Its been 3 weeks since the car had seen day light.

Me too
, felt like christmas all over again, did a cheeky little 50 miles, first drive since october, fitted my new 8 pots/356mm discs/steel lines & dot 5.1
, also got to use my new vi monitor for the first time so i did an acceleration test, was'nt happy with the results
, i had massive wheel spin in first and second (damp road at 6am) and mega clutch slip in 3rd
still read 0-100 in 12 secs and 376bhp tho, time for a paddle clutch and some propper tyres

Manufacturers claimed 0-60 times are always made by test drivers with no regard for the vehicles after they have abused them.

That is a decent 0-100 time though Jarvis, I wouldn't go down the paddle clutch route, I looked at an ACT fast road clutch with 6 damping springs for my Hawkeye before I changed it, a far better clutch for everyday use and I think Mervil has one in his car as well.

I tried using the dyno functions on the VI and tbh you are never going to achieve your expected 0-60 times due to road conditions, launch revs, gearing, riding the clutch, excess weight in the car etc etc. ![EEK!](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/eek.gif)
