NEW ADDITION TO MY INTERIOR
Got round to fitting my D1 Spec snap off steering wheel boss the weekend
I was hoping to keep my dished Sparco wheel but it was too close and uncomfortable so on went my new flat wheel
Hope you like it
This was before.
And as it is now with th D1 boss and RMD steering wheel.

Like it Calv, though what have you done with the Sparco wheel ?
Do you know if it'll fit into any car ?

Thanks Mat. I've got it here. The suede has come off it though. The sparco wheel fits all Momo, sparco and OMP hubs aswell as the D1.

I like it but do prefer the old version but I see what you mean by it getting even closer to you with the dished wheel fitted.

I do like snap off steering wheels but I agree with Ellis that your old steering wheel looked better but it's your opinion that counts most.

It's nice to be able to walk away from your car with the wheel tucked under your arm
Great mod.

The Sparco one does but it's around £160
The RMD one is only £60.
If i can find a shorter hub adaptor the dished one can go back on or something similar
I did have a few strange looks yesterday when a guy in a Saxo asked me what steering wheel i had when we were stopped in lights and i took it off and showed him

Looks top m8 but i do prefer the old wheel. It sort of ties in with the whole theme inside with flocked dash
yours is coming along nicely

The best was a Police woman yesterday when i had left the car running outside, she knocked my door and said " You shouldnt leave your car running while your in the house, someone could pinch it".
I said have a look inside
Number 1) The door was locked (car on turbo timer)
Number 2) No steering wheel.
I said if they can pinch it they deserve it
She didnt find that funny and gave me a warning for parking on the pavement
