I'm luck to have a company car so the scoob can stay all nice an tucked up for most of the time. I'd dred the fuel bill if the scoob was the daily drive

But fair play if you do

Fuel bill's can get shocking, I try and limit things by taking the train in to work now, but this usually doesn't help much, as the Mrs still goes places in it - so

Used my P1 as a daily driver for the last 9yrs... Only recently bought myself a 2nd vehicle to use instead but it turns out that is thirstier than the scoob so the 2nd car is gonna be up for sale shortly and gonna look for something a bit more economical
Wouldnt mind a nice bike but not the most sensible thing for the winter

Mines pretty much a daily drive. I do use my girlfriend's now and again though.

I'll probably end up buying a diesel banger again at some point and use that daily instead.

I did that when I had my first Impreza.

I like driving my present one daily though but its a bit uneconomical.

Have had 5 in the past and the first 4 were daily drives, but for the last 3 years ive had a people carrier as well so ive used it less and for work Ive been sharing a lift every other week so the running costs have gone down a lot

My Impreza is a weekend toy, I have a Pug 206 HDi if I need to go to Tesco's etc and a works van for travelling to work and back.

I commute at least 120 miles per day so the Impreza would cost me around £30 per day so I'd either have to find a new job or sell the Impreza.

330 miles a week in a 330bhp bug at the moment . Have considered selling and getting a more practical car for the last few months & am still considering what to do .

My car is a fanastic car to drive so another alternative is to go for a lower miles hawk Sti but Mrs Notfub ain't so keen . Decisions, decisions.
