****e start to the run, poor old Lee and Ker. Gutted for you mate.

Anyway, 453 miles later, use "cough" £'s worth of fuel. We have driven through some of the best roads in the UK, in weather that Noah would have been proud of, Abergwesn in 2 inches of standing water and torrential rain is challenging to say the least.

The route was Merthyr to Brecon then to Builth via Upper Chapel. Aberystwyth viaRhayader and the Elan Valley and Abergwesyn and Devils Bridge. Then up to MyCnutlips then on to Tywyn. Then up to Dolgellau on to Betws-y-coed, up to Capel Curig then across to Pen-y-pass down to Llanberis then back down the A470, PHEW!

Annoyed Mark because he could not see the top of Snowdon or Cadir Idris. Annoyed a bloke in a DBS Aston Martin on the twisties south of Bleaneau Ffestiniog and the Chavalier driver coming out of Builth.

Top bunch of blokes.

Ty hope your route home was

I would also recommend the KYB adjustables with the P1 springs. They performed faultlessly. Also, I had my doubts over the Prada 2, but apart from one issue (on an uphill hairpin with a few inches of water flowing down) they where awesome.

Ty got any pics yet?

I had an eventful journey back after we left the Shell station at Bewts-y-Coed I went down to Blaenau Festiniog and while going at 30mph I had some idiots in an Astra come honking up behind me. They tailgated and were swerving all over the road through the town no more than 3 feet from my back bumper.

When we got to the national speed limit I dropped it into 3rd and floored it they soon became a speck in the mirrors , got into another 30 zone and slowed down up they pop again going at least 60 through there to catch up.

When we got through that 30 section and into a twisty section I finally got rid of the slate eating clowns.

What is wrong with these morons?

Anyway I'll post up some pics later, there aren't that many due to the poor weather yesterday but some came out ok.
