Unhappy at last

at last found out what the missfire was with the scoob after 3 months of back and forth to the garage at first nobody knew what was wrong then my wife was on her way home and the engine managment light came on so it went back to the garage again and number 4 piston was fecked and the head so after a week of phone calls to the dealer got my money back so will be looking for a nice classic shortly!

Shame the Rb was a bad one but good news that you got your money back.

Rb classic on the cards perhaps?

Sorry to hear about the engine failure, I know about the ring failures on the Hatchback STi's but I didn't think it affected the Hawkeye STi's as well.

Bloody hell these 2.5 engines aren't up to much are they? Just glad now that my old Hawkeye WRX is no longer with me.

The 2.5 engines are prone to cracked turbo's, ring failures and head gaskets failing, a good reason to get a JDM 2.0 engine.

Which classic are you thinking of?
