I parked up at Prince Charles hospital as my job takes me there occasionally and a guy approached me asking about my car, typical stuff - BHP mods etc.

He said he owns a lime green classic that he's spent thoasands on with his latest purchase being a set of chrome wheels.

He seemed keen to talk about Impreza's but if I may say without offending the chap he didnt come across as the type to have amounts of money like that at his disposal.

He showed me a pic on his phone and said he was from Aberdare. He says his car is running at 360BHP and when I asked him what he had done to achieve that type of out put he was a bit vague. He then said the car was SORN as it wasnt taxed or MOT'd

Mind you I can be vague about loads of stuff as my memory is poor.

Something didnt add up about him and I decided to get back in the car and move it to another part of the hosptial away from him as he kept saying that gurnos boys robbed cars all the time there.

Does anyone know who this guy might be or seen a lime green classic around aberdare, merthyr and so on.

None of this matters I suppose but it satifies a curiosity if i could makes sense of it.

i drive to an from and around aberdare alot, nearly everyday and i see alot of scooby's but never seen a lime green one....
he wasnt from the nut house was he

Maybe it's stowed away in his underground garage or he has a picture of a Focus RS on his bedroom wall and got all confused like !

It is worrying mind you when people ask questions, you don't know who's genuine these day's and if it don't add up - it don't add up !!

Thats odd, "my car check" on my phone says that L87 NNM is a Green 2005 Impreza ?

prob brought over here and registered in 2005,
put my car reg into we buy any car for a laugh and it came up as a 2007 hawkeye, checked the log book and it is a 1995 but it was brought over to the uk and registered in 2007.

That is the very chap. He just seemed a bit too rough to own an Impreza.
He was friendly enough so I feel quite bad having been so suspicious of him.

He was quite a character.
