Default Front Wing removal

Has anybody removed the front wings off their classic ?
How much work is involved ? do i need to strip out the headlight and sidelight ?

had a bit of an incident this morning involving a kerb and a mudflap and its caused a bit of damage so need to remove the wing to see if it can be straightened or replaced

AFAIK the headlight doesn't need to come out but the side light will and then just remove any bolts holding the wing on and hey presto...

different sides I know but hopefully you will get the idea, my car was hit on the drivers side front corner and the other wing was removed due to a rusty hole

hope this helps
