Default Paging Cannon fodder

Ty
I was wondering if you fancied a little more expierience with your magic box that reads engine faults.

Well to be honest I feel bad asking you after you sorted me out so well last time, yes the engine light has shown up again. car is running fine and I hope it is just a minor issue like last time.

But if you are down my way anytime soon , the kettles always on

Cheers
Kieran

If it shows up a one off misfire again then I supose I need to be investigating plugs/caps/leads etc to start with

No problem I might be able to make it tonight at around 18.30 or I can try for Sunday morning around 10.30 or Monday night around 18.30.

I should be able to go for a longer run this time but I'm on call until Monday so it's down to whether I get a callout or not, anyway PM me your mobile number and I'll ring you tomorrow night.

I've been off line for a few days Ty as computer has been playing up as well as the car.
Thanks for the offer mate

Just to update you, the engine light came on friday but saturday morning it had gone off again but re-appeared after about 40mins mild driving.
Yesterday morning it came back on but this morning it had gone again.

Even though it is still off I think it prudent to have a check of the error codes if you can fit me in.

Cheers
Taffy

mine was doing the same a while ago. Turned out to be the knock sensor. It looked OK but when I removed it the plastic around the centre hole was split.

Sorry but I can't now do anything today as the laptop is at home and I'm in work at the moment.

I can do something on Wednesday night after about 7.15pm if that helps, just PM me your mobile number as I didn't keep a record of it.

Just let me know.

What was the error code...and did it point you in the right direction?
