Have a look at the above, it might be worth giving Bob a ring as well as he does keep some sensors in stock as well.

Also try Advanced Automotive a try as well, plus give Import Car Parts a ring as well if you are going to order from them to confirm the part above is the right application for your car.

Nearly forgot there are quite a few Newages being broken in the general sales section on here.

No problem as well, glad to be able to offer some assistance.

Cant give more advice Ty. You have shown Si where to get one and told him there are cars being broken on here. What else does he need to know?

Calvin, what I was hoping for was some suggestions for other suppliers of the sensor or if anyone had one going spare.

I've been on call this week and only had time for a flying visit to plug in the laptop and diagnose the fault. In fact I'm in work typing this out now.

Cheers Ty I've PM'd a fellow member to see if he has one on a Blob being broken, and failing that, the link you posted looks like a favourite - unless Bob is cheaper ( if he has one to sell on ) Will contact him too - Cheers Mate

Simon,
I've got two methods of reading and removing CELL's now, should have given me a call mate (latest is a bluetooth OBD2 connector and TORQUE software for my andriod phone - works a treat).

Anyway, I bought a new lambda for my old classic from here,
http://www.lambdasensor.com/main/subaru3.htm
It was a direct fit and I'd suggest you check the connector design & subaru part numbers against those in the picture. Also make sure that you measure the length of the existing wires to make sure the new lambda isn't too short, some are apparently).

There you go Ty, bit of patience and some more advice arrives

Cheers for the offer Dean, thanks for the link too - My current lead is quite long - so I'll make sure the new one is long enough

Simon the Subaru part number for your sensor is 22641-AA042 beware though that the UK, US and JDM all use different sensors.

I took that number off your failed sensor and it's the same number on the Import Car Parts link I posted above.

Patience is a virtue, but as I don't have any virtues then it doesn't apply to me.

Dean, how do you find the OBD Bluetooth system? I was going to buy one to run with my laptop and iPhone but read conflicting reviews so gave them a miss.

I bought the Ecutek EasyEcu system which comes with Deltadash Professional which comes with road dyno, fault code reading, full Subaru data logging, map download and upload functions, ECU reset and 20 million other functions that I still haven't used.

I would be interested though to see the Bluetooth OBD system.

Basically I plug in the bluetooth OBD dongle to the car, switch on bluetooth on my galaxy s, and they auto sync (after being paired during 1st connection). Start the Torque software and data starts flowing the to gauges on the phone's display. I can scan for (and clear) codes and create logfiles. Pretty simple and straightforward and does what my scangauge II does to be honest (which i'll probably sell now). For a simple system it's great, i'll show you at the next meet or you can drop in if passing caveland

Here's a link of it in full flow (just found on youtube)...

Are you sorted out now? I saw the car down in Stradey this afternoon.

If your still not sure about the MAF then I can even check for MAF voltages etc with Deltadash.

No MAF on the sports apparently. Gonna try and get a compression test done at some point next week and if that's ok then i'll check the plugs. From what i've been reading, it sounds like the PCV valve could also be a suspect as well. If you are free to plug the laptop into it at all next week it would be greatly appreciated though, couldn't do any harm to see if there any fault codes.
