Default Man that was deep!!

Went out for a spin today around south/mid wales. These tyres are awsome it pulled up all hills i could find, some where so steep i wouldnt attemp them in the dry lol.

Main roads are fine. As long as you use Varteg Rd to get to mine you'll be fine, as the riverside road is 6"deep and its due to freeze tonight!!

O.k mate, only been out in mine once yesterday. was great in the deep stuff but no good on roads that people had polished by wheel spinning their way through (tyres are too wide), was completely opposite lock going up longford road by the house, but at least I made it.. Kinda weird driving like a crab, but your used to that most of the time!!!

Years ago everyone had a set winter tyres I know I did, it makes getting around a lot easier for sure.

What tyres and wheels are you using Dylan,
I've been looking everywhere for some narrow steel wheels and then winter tyres for my Evo 9.

Hi Daz. They are ex-prodrive 16" recce wheels. And the tyres are Conway snow tyres 205-50-16 so not that thin really.
I swear by them in this weather.

Ps Conway are no more but there are simular on eBay.

Cracking pic's Dylan - nice one mate Could have done with those tyre's yesterday as the Mrs got stuck going up the 6 inch incline into the drive !! 4 wheels spinnning, no traction at all - got the only Scoob that's allergic to snow I think !! LOL more Doo than Scooby !!
