I also need to get the rear windows and screen redone on my Spec C as whoever did it before has made a right botch job of it.

I now know why it had the large Quicksilver and Fox stickers on the rear windows as they were hiding more bubbles than an Aero choc bar.

Anyone know of a good tinting company in the Swansea / Bridgend areas?

Indeed I am lol Foz !!
Sorry no time here to organise a gb but from experience I'd need to see the quality before I even considered having it done.

Simon @ Tint Wizard Tonna Neath, he has done 3 cars for me, he did my Classic rears, My old Bugeye rears and my old Hyundai Coupe which had a mahoosive rear window !! none ever cracked peeled off or had any problem at all and he uses good quality stuff which I think is the key

Right guys, I've had an email off Madol (Motortint) in Cardiff, and they're more than happy for a GB if interested!

1-5 cars 3/4 door £130.00 Wagon £150.00

6-10 £120.00 and £140.00

11-15 £110.00 and £130.00

Prices are all inclusive and still include their full warranty.

They would require a £20 deposit for each car and each car will need to be
booked in.
They can do 5 vehicles per day.

I had my old Blob done there and my Mrs had her Swift Sport done there also! If the film bubbles or you get any problem with them then just take it back and they will sort it for you

Just to add, I had an interior sunstrip fitted at the same time and it was only £10 extra

Hi Mervil,

Me and a friend have been tring to pop over and see you guys on one of the meets but are struggling to find the time at the mo, I might well be up for this, sun strip sounds good too is there any chance of getting the frount windows done too, or has the legislation changed to make it damn near impossible?

Cheers

Ben

Ben,

Yes and no . The tints on the front need to be a certain density to allow a % of light through. You would be two tone, front light, rear dark .

Hiya Marko,

I am with you all the way, all the windows would look mint. it's just that balance between to dark or not dark enough I suppose.

We will have to try and meet these guys at some point. I can't do the july meet, as i am on holiday might be up for the August one though..

Ben
