Came home by 1.30pm, and had my cubby box arrive so thought I`ll pop out and get some paint. ![Norty](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/norty.gif)
Decided to see what my wheels would look like in White, so out came the shot-blaster and 6 cans of paint/primer.
The shot blaster removed all the old filler and the filer was hiding gouges etc, so this is just a taster. Rather I spent £20 on trying it out than getting them refurbed and spending a LOT more.
Anyways what I been up to today.

Yep, NOT a great job as up close the lack of filler over the kerbing and marks.
Will DEFFO need doing again properly, but this was just to see what they`d look like.
Came off as I use the rear windows and they stated getting torn and scratched so off they came.

These are the marks I was on about they really need chemical dipping or someone with a bit more time than me lol.

I really did these in a rush as I had no filler, maybe go get some tomorrow and see if I can so something as they look superb from a distance and then up close its ooooooooooh they are rough!! lol.
And as said they were badly corroded, and flaking and looking crap, so it was either cover the corrosion with yet more matt black, or give them a quick going over and see what they look like in white. The paint on them was so thick and hiding so much crap, that it looked a straight forward shot-blast and then paint, but the more I did the worse the marks got so the later wheels I did were a very light blow over.
So now I`m happy they look a LOT better white, I`ll get them refurbed properly.
Oh and started at 2:30, cubby box installed, all 4 wheels off and back on again by 8:00pm.
Including stopping for tea breaks, and randomly chasing my dog around every now and then (esp as I sawi t rolling in sh*t!!).

Prefer the cleaner look from white, and it seems to suit the colour of the car more. Now to get the car a respray all one colour lol, and the wheels done in white. Eventually I want Rota Grid/Grid Drifts, also in white.
Tbh it was a photoshop I did that clinched the wheel colour for me.

Nah they get the "Rally-Look" lol.
But once they are done properly I`ll spray them with a silicon based furniture polish spray, then that way any dirt will come off with a hose down as it sits ontop of the silicon, like teflon coating them lol.
Or just get them so lacquered they come off with a wipe lol.
