They tend to be overpriced and far from any civilisation so you have to spend money there or travel a fair way!

Ive taken the kids to Kiln Park and Devon Cliffs. Both are "pants" compared to Butlins at Minehead. Its not cheap though....

Simon, my brother takes his family to Butlins in Minehead at least twice a year for a long weekend. If Butlins can keep my two nephews entertained then it must have plenty to do.

I got back from there yesterday. My boys had a great time and are exhausted now, due to all that was going on. Only went for 4 days and put on 9lbs myself. I can hardly fit into my seats now...Bet it would be a nice drive from south wales too.

Si,
If your in Weymouth there is loads to do. Pop up to the Tank Museum in Bovington and Monkey World is just round the corner. If they play up threaten them with the nick on Portland Bill .

LOL Cheers Ian I'll probably stump for Devon Cliffs Haven, as it looks OK and a friend has ben there in the past.

The Tank museum sounds cool - Lucy would love it too !! as for the Nick - they could do with some "Solitary" now and again

We are going to Greenacres in Notht Wales (an epic drive up in the scoob) its child friendly, got its own private beach. a 15 minute drive from snowdon. Fishing nearby. yadda yadda.

Its by far the cleanest and friendliest haven park we have visited in the last couple of years.
