Unfortunatelty the 16th French player has robbed us of the final, I have to give it to the Welsh team though that they couldn't have tried any harder.

Well done for getting to the semi final, and at least we scored the only try.

Come on New Zealand.

I know nowt about Rugby but is it fair to say despite a player getting sent off Wales missed there chance by not taking the points from at least 2 penalty kicks.

Warburton hut with a three match ban by an English independent judicial, he will now miss Friday match.

No further action has been taken in regards to the previous matches.

Sounds completely fair to me.

So that's an English, French and Irish man making a decision on a Welsh game and player. WTF

It was wrong to have Alain Rolland refing, I know refs are sposed to be neutrals, but playing an Irish ref (when we just put Ireland out of the world cup) and the ref's dad is French, you'd would've thought they would have stuck a southern hemisphere ref in! So much is at steak, its a world cup semi final ffs!!!

ITV also showed about 1 minutes footage of spear tackles on players during this world cup by other teams, worse tackles than Sam's and they wern't penalised - no yellow cards and defo no red cards.

It was worth a yellow but thats it IMO, and he was delt with on the pitch, to get a 6 week ban reduced to 3 is bonkers, the surely the panel would've reviewed the footage?!?!?!?!?

I wouldn't like to be in Alains shoes when he's back here erfing a pro 12 game, he's gonna get **** for as long as he continues refing!!!!

Wales were by far the best team in the world cup and watching NZ and Australia play today, I would've fancied our chances at winning the world cup.

Not sure now about the 3rd and 4th play off, I just hope Wales can forget about yesterdays match and concentrate on beating Australia.

I'm so proud to be Welsh, and the boyos done us all proud!!

Its laughable, the IRB have supported one of their own by giving Warburton a ban, but the STATUTORY ban length is 6 weeks, so by giving a 3-match/3 week ban is further underlying that the decision was wrong, but they are standing by their man. The fact he is a Touchline Judge is another bit of evidence they are trying to brush it under the carpet and move on.
